To start with, I do not know the owners or operators of this establishment... I've been here two times in the past 10 days at both times I receive excellent service and tasty food at reasonable cost. Both times my servers were on top of their game correctly taking my order and checking back with me periodically... I would think some of the negative reviews come from people who are dissatisfied in life generally and just like to complain, probably about everything. I particularly noted a negative review from a so-called UC grad student... Wow!!! How impressive! NOT

I have ordered from here multiple times on DoorDash. Finally went in to eat in person for the first time. The inside was decorated really nice! The service was pretty quick and friendly too. We order the chips and salsa & Queso on the side as well to Start off. We really enjoyed our queso dip, so I do recommend that! We also ordered the burrito el barzon- An item that we order quite frequently. Pretty much every time we order from here. It’s a huge burrito with chicken, shrimp, beef, pineapple, and a smothered in sauce. Definitely very filling and could get multiple meals out of it. I also order their salmon and shrimp, rice dish, which they offered tortillas When they brought it out. It was good, I love the sauce and will definitely order this again..

This is a family go to favorite any day of the week! The food is always great! Try the Burrito Loco and/or Fajitas... pairs well with a Spicy Margarita and chips and blanco dip. Everyone that works there is friendly and attentive, great service, reasonably priced.

First time at this establishment. Any kind of Mexican food one could want they have. Busy at dinner time so the wait for the food to arrive was a bit long but to be expected. What was not expected was the medium Dos Equis. Glad I didn't order a large. Try the roasted corn rubbed with mayo and Parmesan for something different. I had the Quatro Esquinas and it had me saying, No Mas, no mas!

Authentic Mexican cuisine, great ambiance and the service was top notch. Our server was super fast and provided everything we asked for. No delays in our order and absolutely best food we have had. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Cincinnati.

Absolutely delicious. The chips and salsa are out of this world. The food is amazing and the staff was super friendly and accommodating to everything that we needed. I can't wait to go back! I'll add photos next time. The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures of the food.

Every time we come here, we are so impressed! The food is always delicious, service is friendly and fast, and decor and atmosphere makes it fun! I would absolutely recommend stopping here. 5/5 Stars!

El Jinete knows what it is and executes it to near perfection. If you are looking for a standard Mexican restaurant look no further. The food is above average quality for a typical Mexican restaurant, and the menu has every option you could hope for. They also offer rotating specials. Drink prices are great. Beer and margaritas are particularly low in price compared to other restaurants. Service is consistently fast and accurate. I have eaten here 20 times and I don't think they have ever gotten an order wrong no matter how much it is modified. Food comes out fast and servers are almost always attentive. If you do happen to get a server that forgets you, the manager takes over and makes sure you are served promptly. This has only happened once or twice.
